In my Principles of Integrated Engineering class, I spearheaded a cross-functional team of four to develop an automated drink-mixing robot, focusing on precision in electronic control and material safety.
In my Principles of Integrated Engineering class, I spearheaded a cross-functional team of four to develop an automated drink-mixing robot, focusing on precision in electronic control and material safety.
In addition to my primary duties, I played a key role in the innovative design and assembly of a peristaltic pump. This pump was designed on SolidWorks and crafted using repurposed stepper motors from 3D printers, precisely laser-cut wood, bearings, and readily available fasteners.
Ensuring the safety of our system was a critical part of my job. I meticulously selected components that came into contact with food, prioritizing food safety. This included sourcing high-quality, food-safe tubing from McMaster-Carr and adapting reused water bottles for safe incorporation into our system
